Roasted Brussel Sprouts

I know what a lot of you are thinking right now. EW! Brussel Sprouts are just one of those vegetables that are hated by so many. But seriously, just give these a try.

Some vegetables are very forgiving and can be cooked pretty much any way and still taste good. Brussel Sprouts aren't really one of those. They can so easily be over cooked and taste absolutely horrible! However, this way of cooking brussel sprouts has now made them one of my favourite winter vegetables.

Forget horrible, soggy over cooked things, these are slightly crispy with great flavour from the balsamic.

Seriously...... just give them a go

Per person

Ingredients
6 medium brussel sprouts, halved
Olive oil
Balsamic vinegar
Salt

1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C.
2. Place the sprouts cut side down in a small roasting dish.
3. Drizzle with a little olive oil and balsamic (about 1 tsp each)
4. Place in the oven for 10-15 minutes or until the outside are crispy and just starting to brown.
